The atmosphere at Lake Como is unparalleled: From May 23 to 25, 2025, BMW Group Classic, in collaboration with the Hotel Villa d'Este, hosts the legendary Concorso d'Eleganza Villa d'Estea partnership that has been making automotive dreams come true for 20 years. Amidst classic automotive icons and the picturesque backdrop of Villa d'Este, BMW presented the Concept RR to an exclusive audience of motorcycle enthusiasts and collectors. The event itself exudes the same blend of tradition and innovation embodied by the Concept RR. Since its inception in 1929, the Concorso d'Eleganza Villa d'Este has stood for a unique combination of exquisite design, technical sophistication, and cultural heritage. A fitting stage for a motorcycle that could define the future of the superbike segment.

Technical Marvels with Street Potential

The motorcycle appears light and elegant. Hopefully, many of the beautiful and intricate elements will make it into the production model. The overall concept is coherent. It is unmistakably a BMW, yet visually a sportbike that breaks new ground. In its street version, the motorcycle is expected to deliver 220 horsepower. The production model will likely be showcased at EICMA and hopefully later at INTERMOT in Germany.

Unlike other manufacturers, this motorcycle is not built solely for racing. It will also be road-legal across Europe with current homologation standards, meaning it meets all the necessary regulations for street use. With the fresh world championship title in the bag and a concept bike that excites both technically and visually, BMW Motorrad makes a strong statement. The Concept RR demonstrates that the Munich team is ready for the next generation of superbikesand aims to set the benchmark.
