Selbst nach drei Jahren zählt die Yamaha MT-07 noch als Publikumsliebling. So ein Preis-Leistungsverhältnis schlägt sonst niemand. Der Zweizylinder reißt mächtig an, ist in niedrigen Drehzahlen aber sehr sanft dosierbar. Auch das Display zählt mit seiner guten Ablesbarkeit zu einem der Besten in dieser Klasse. Einzig das Fahrwerk enttäuscht. Bei sportlicher Fahrweise ist es schlichtweg zu weich abgestimmt, wodurch sich die MT-07 schon einmal aufschaukeln kann.
