KTM 1290 Super Adventure S 2017 vs. KTM 1050 Adventure 2016

On the other hand, the KTM 1050 Adventure 2016 offers a powerful and refined engine, disengageable ABS, adjustable traction control, agile handling, adjustable ergonomics, prestigious looks similar to the bigger KTM models, a height-adjustable windshield, low weight, and a comparatively affordable price.

In terms of weaknesses, the KTM 1290 Super Adventure S 2017 has a high price and a power-consuming height adjustment of the windshield. On the other hand, the KTM 1050 Adventure 2016 has a rev limiter that kicks in at 8500 revs and a chassis that may be a little too soft for off-road use.
