Velmi rychlí hobby jezdci nebudou se standardním odpružením stoprocentně spokojeni. Pokud nechcete upravovat podvozek, měli byste raději sáhnout po R1M, Panigale S nebo RSV RF. Pokud přesto chcete přestavovat, je S 1000 RR nejsilnějším a nejuniverzálnějším základem. Překvapivě silný stroj jezdí velmi dobře i na polních cestách. Celkově to vypadá jako kompromis, ale v praxi to tak nikdy nepůsobí.
