Stroj se neuvěřitelně snadno ovládá a ve srovnání s předchozím modelem působí téměř jako šestistovka! Poloha sedadla a celé nastavení stroje se staly mnohem sportovnějšími, ale na asfalt se dá přenést mnohem uživatelsky přívětivějším způsobem díky výrazně vylepšenému balíčku elektroniky, ušetřené hmotnosti a v neposlední řadě téměř lineárnímu průběhu výkonu pohonné jednotky - bravo! Bohužel je tu ještě jedno mínus: pokud chcete z inovací vytěžit maximum, musíte do krabice prodejce vložit maximální počet křížků. Na oplátku si však můžete vytvořit vlastní individuální BMW!

Aprilia vyčnívá z davu svým zvučným zvukem motoru V4, který připomíná spíše dvouválec než řvoucí řadový čtyřválec.
