Velcí a těžcí jezdci z toho budou moci těžit ještě více. BMW si to s tímto motocyklem neulehčilo a sestavilo velmi univerzální motorku. Kdybyste udělali srovnávací test s 50 různými jezdci (od nováčků po profesionály), BMW by mělo nejlepší průměr ze všech motocyklů o objemu 1000 ccm. Díky elektronickému podvozku, ale i jízdním pomůckám jsou profesionálové na silnici rychlí a začátečníci bezpeční. Špičkové doporučení pro velmi širokou cílovou skupinu. Velmi rychlí hobby jezdci nebudou se standardním odpružením stoprocentně spokojeni. Pokud nechcete upravovat podvozek, měli byste raději sáhnout po R1M, Panigale S nebo RSV RF.
