Podvozek a brzdy jsou také velmi dobré a pozice sedadla je sportovní a vzpřímená, což pokrývá široké spektrum od báječné zábavy až po dálkové cestování. Bohužel BMW dokonale rozumí i triku s příplatkovým seznamem. Základní model je dobře vybaven ABS, které lze deaktivovat, kontrolou trakce, kterou lze rovněž deaktivovat, a dvěma jízdními režimy, ale mnoho zajímavých vychytávek je téměř povinných - a samozřejmě zvyšují cenu.
