Nová Africa Twin přišla přesně podle očekávání fanoušků: Dobře ovladatelný, neagresivní a skvělý společník na cesty. Příjemným bonusem byl i fakt, že mimořádně dobře vypadá. Není tedy důvod Afriku Twin zásadně měnit, to, co bylo dobré, zůstává dobré i na novém modelu - a mnohé bylo vylepšeno. Díky systému Ride by Wire si nyní můžete na Africe Twin užívat i výkonnostní režimy a kontrolu trakce lze nastavit sedmkrát (místo dřívějšího trojnásobku) a vypnout. Volitelná převodovka DCT je stále velkým hitem a zábavou, ale také hodně stojí.
KTM 1050 Adventure 2016
Podle mého názoru KTM 1050 Adventure navazuje na model 990 Adventure, který před několika lety skončil: Výkon kolem 100 koní, hravé jízdní vlastnosti a tolik nebo tolik elektroniky, kolik je v současnosti nejmodernější. Motor je všechno, jen ne slabý, ABS a kontrola trakce regulují bezpečně a nenápadně a řízení je mimořádně zábavné, mimo jiné i díky relativně úzkým pneumatikám. A to vše za cenu, kterou v lize velkých cestovních endur podbízí jen několik málo konkurentů. Ač je to smutné, cena obou 1190 Adventures a především vlajkové lodi 1290 Super Adventure se vyšplhala do velmi vysokých hodnot. A právě proto je KTM 1050 Adventure možná nejsoudržnějším ze čtyř modelů Adventure.
