Model Yamaha MT-09 nebylo třeba pro nadcházející sezónu znovu vymýšlet - už před téměř čtyřmi lety byl velmi dobře zpracován. Naopak, motor se v tomto režimu může pochlubit výkonem, který je v tomto případě vyšší než v první generaci. Největší změnou, rozpoznatelnou na první pohled, je podle mého názoru mimořádně zdařilý design s agresivnější přídí a nově řešenou zádí. Celkově jde o ještě svižnější naháč, který byl jednoznačně postaven pro radost z jízdy na motocyklu.

Yamaha MT-10 vyzařuje spoustu emocí díky skvělému motoru CP4, ale nezapomíná ani na pragmatickou užitečnost. Na to, že se jedná o nahý motocykl, nabízí na dlouhých trasách velké pohodlí. Jezdí rychle, ale přesto je za všech okolností kultivovaná. Na závodní trati není podvozek dostatečně přesný, aby porazil ostatní Powernakedy. Celkově však boduje svou všestranností ve spojení s radikálním vzhledem a úžasným zvukem.
