Suzuki SV 650 provází dlouhá historie úspěchů, která bude jistě ještě dlouho pokračovat. Jeho pružný motor V2 zaujme velmi hladkou odezvou a velkým točivým momentem. Kompaktní rozměry napomáhají tomu, že motocykl vypadá velmi kompaktně. To se bude velmi hodit začátečníkům. Podvozek boduje také hravým ovládáním. Bohužel brzdný účinek není na takové úrovni, jakou by člověk od tak výkonného vozidla očekával.

XSR je pro mě ideální kolo na každodenní ježdění. Je to vizuální pastva pro oči, má neuvěřitelný výkon, ale přitom je lehká a hbitá. Pozice sezení umožňuje delší vyjížďky, protože zavazadla lze bez problémů převážet na zádech. Samotné XSR teď přesně neví, čím chce být. Ale já výsledný mix považuji za docela vzrušující. Pokud tedy nechcete (nebo nemůžete) mít v garáži různá kola, je XSR velmi dobrou volbou. Slouží velmi dobře. Má všechno, co od motorky očekáváte. V hotelu by se dalo hovořit o nabídce all inclusive. Je ideální pro Je ideální pro každodenní jízdu do kanceláře, pro víkendové výlety a menší výlety na jih. I s pilotem je motocykl velmi snadno ovladatelný. Jak je u Yamahy zvykem, motocykl působí velmi solidním dojmem. Všechno zde zkrátka funguje. Výfuk je příjemně tichý, ale od 5000 otáček za minutu vydává velmi přitažlivý a hrdelní zvuk. Zadní část je otázkou vkusu. Osobně bych zadní část přestavěl a odstranil plastové prvky. Také standardní zrcátka mi připadají trochu velká. Retro vzhled zde nebyl zcela dotažen do konce. To se však dá velmi dobře změnit snadno a rychle díky bohatému příslušenství. Přístrojová deska je v podstatě dobře čitelná. Mnoho informací je však prostoru. Zde se design a funkčnost trochu střetávají. Shrnuto do jedné věty: Perfektní motocykl pro každou výzvu.
