Stále se jedná o jedno z nejsportovnějších cestovních endur na trhu. Jen málokterý dobrodružný motocykl střední třídy s 21palcovým předním kolem se dokáže pohybovat tak rychle, tvrdě a přesně jako KTM. Pro rok 2023 dostala přepracovaný a nyní také nastavitelný podvozek, který stále odpovídá sportovnímu charakteru, ale poskytuje o něco více pohodlí v sedle. Motor lze nyní rozhodně označit za vyspělý. Díky svému silnému charakteru, čisté odezvě a téměř žádným vibracím má motor z Mattighofenu mnoho příznivců. S aktualizací modelu si na KTM našla cestu i nová elektronika. ABS a kontrola trakce nyní regulují ještě citlivěji a jsou lépe vyladěny na jízdní režimy. Nový pětipalcový displej poskytuje vždy dokonalý přehled.
KTM 1050 Adventure 2016
Podle mého názoru KTM 1050 Adventure navazuje na model 990 Adventure, který před několika lety skončil: Výkon kolem 100 koní, hravé jízdní vlastnosti a tolik nebo tolik elektroniky, kolik je v současnosti nejmodernější. Motor je všechno, jen ne slabý, ABS a kontrola trakce regulují bezpečně a nenápadně a řízení je mimořádně zábavné, mimo jiné i díky relativně úzkým pneumatikám. A to vše za cenu, kterou v lize velkých cestovních endur podbízí jen několik málo konkurentů. Ač je to smutné, cena obou 1190 Adventures a především vlajkové lodi 1290 Super Adventure se vyšplhala do velmi vysokých hodnot. A právě proto je KTM 1050 Adventure možná nejsoudržnějším ze čtyř modelů Adventure.
