Je to nepřekonatelný vrchař, zejména na úzkých horských silnicích, ale také příjemný společník na každodenní jízdu do práce. Součástí výbavy je také rozsáhlý balíček elektroniky s nastavitelnými režimy výkonu, kontrolou trakce a na palubě nechybí ani ABS pro náklon.

KTM 1090 Adventure je velkým krokem od svého předchůdce, modelu 1050 Adventure, směrem k jeho větším sestrám. Balíček elektroniky s nastavitelnými jízdními režimy, kontrolou trakce a ABS zůstává na již tak vysoké úrovni, ale motor má nyní 125 koní, což je přibližně o třetinu (!) více než u modelu 1050.
