Kawasaki KX450X 2023

As expected, the 450 has a real power plant in the frame, the MX engine is definitely a rocket! Where other 450 enduros have problems going uphill, you have to turn off earlier to come to a stop. However, it's not its territory to muddle along in the lower third of the rev range, where it seems rough. Super traction from the shock absorber, but still easy to control despite the power. On fast stages and in the sand, the chassis is perfect, but in the forest and over roots, it is certainly too stiff; softer springs would be indispensable here. The perfect machine if you train a lot on the MX track with an Enduro, prefer CrossCountry and only occasionally tend towards difficult Enduro terrain. For touring and gravel tracks, it needs a longer gear ratio.
