KTM 350 EXC-F 2012

The 350 is simply the new golden mean. In tough terrain on uphill sections, it is strong enough to compensate for a lack of riding skills with the throttle grip. But not too strong that it throws you off like a rodeo ox if you use it too hard. Downhill, it's light enough that you won't leave skid marks in your enduro underwear, even on rocky passages.

More refined look

thinner walls

new, practical fuel filter

Slightly increased weight.

KTM Freeride 350 2012

KTM Freeride 350 2012

The Freeride doesn't try to combine trials and enduro to be the champion of its class in both genres. It would simply be too heavy as a trial and probably too fragile in the long run as a competition enduro. The Freeride will certainly be well received by smaller riders, as the low seat height opens up enduro riding to more people.

High-strength frame deck

positive chassis

lower seating position - conveys safety.

Disadvantaged compared to the EXC-F in full-throttle passages and higher jumps.
