The Honda Naked Bike CB125R is getting an upgrade for the 2024 model year. It now comes equipped with a state-of-the-art full-color TFT display, similar to the one found on the CB1000R, along with a new switch unit for easy navigation. The CB125R will be offered in striking new colors such as Matt Cynos Gray Metallic, Pearl Cool White, Reef Sea Blue Metallic, and Pearl Splendor Red. The design is further enhanced with color-coordinated "Big Logo" graphics. Additionally, the CB125R meets the Euro 5+ standard, ensuring optimal performance and environmental compliance.

New display for the CB125R

Powered by a spirited 125 cc engine, the Honda Naked Bike CB125R serves as the gateway into the Honda Neo Sports Café model lineup, known for its minimalist retro style with a modern twist. The latest addition to this model is a cutting-edge 5-inch full color TFT display borrowed from the CB1000R. This new display offers three different modes for speed and RPM, along with details on fuel consumption and gear selection. Additionally, it features an adjustable shift point indicator on the tachometer. Complementing the new display, the CB125R now boasts a redesigned switch unit on the left-hand side for easy operation.

New colors for the Honda CB125R

For the model year 2024, the Honda Naked Bike will come in four new color options: Matt Cynos Gray Metallic, Pearl Cool White, Reef Sea Blue Metallic, and Pearl Splendor Red, each with color-matched rear covers. All versions will showcase corresponding CB125 logos on the radiator cowling and contrasting Honda Wing logos on the tank. The Matt Cynos Gray Metallic variant stands out as unique in the lineup, featuring CB125R and Honda Wing logos in gold on the fairing and tank. The Honda Naked Bike is now available for purchase from Austrian Honda dealers at a price of €5,190.

Honda CB125R with Euro5+ conformity

In the 2021 model year, the Honda Naked Bike CB125R was equipped with a new DOHC 4-valve engine, producing 15 hp at 10,000 rpm and 11.6 Nm of torque at 8,000 rpm. The bike also received a significant chassis upgrade, featuring a 41mm Showa Separate Function Big Piston USD fork borrowed from its Neo Sports Café sibling, the CB650R. This enhancement ensures that the CB125R now offers a suspension quality typically found on larger motorcycles. For the 2024 model year, the CB125R will be compliant with Euro5+ regulations. These new emission standards, mandated from the end of 2024, include the implementation of an "on-board" monitoring system for the catalytic converter, a reduction in fault detection thresholds for earlier and stricter owner warnings, stricter noise regulations, and long-term improvements in exhaust emissions.
